Design Process
The entrance to this apartment and commercial building needed a major update to set it apart from the retail space next door. Our design for the plaza preserves the existing concrete – minimizing waste. The sleek canopy design rests lightly on the existing building face and directs rainwater off the tenants’ heads and into planted areas. LED uplighting highlights the new steel signage above the canopy surface, and the new signage puts the focus right where it belongs: on the apartment building.
