Chicago’s first PARK(ing) Day transformed a few parking spaces into an interactive, public green space for a day. In collaboration with co-designers Studio Murmur, we designed a parklet, a permanent iteration of PARK(ing) Day, complete with seating and plant life. This mini-urban retreat fits into several parking spaces and makes an annual warm-weather appearance in Andersonville along Clark street.
